PLEXIGLAS^® has become renowned for items that make life easier and safer, more varied and exciting, and which must meet particularly high demands. Evonik supplies the market with these comprehensive functionalities of PLEXIGLAS^® in the form of films.

Unique combination of varied properties 
PLEXIGLAS^® films consist of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and contain polybutyl acrylate (PBA) as an impact modifier. The films are equipped with varying degrees of UV absorbers and have the following property profile:

• Weatherproof
• UV-absorbent
• Scratchproof (pencil hardness to 2 H)
• Completely colorless
• Easily reshapeable
• Easily imprintable (screen, digital, gravure printing)

PLEXIGLAS^® films for lighting technology applications
PLEXIGLAS^® films White 99532 and White 99547 for light dispersion are based on impact-modified polymethyl methacrylate and offer an ideal mix of light transmission and light dispersion. In displays and lighting applications, White 99547 and White 99532 provide even illumination and light distribution.

Stained films 
We offer a wide range of transparent, color-stained PLEXIGLAS^® films for retroreflective traffic signs. The stains must follow very narrow tolerance limits and offer high color stability.
