PLEXIGLAS® proTerra

Recycled acrylic glass as the base, proven brand quality as the result
PLEXIGLAS® proTerra consists of approx. 90 percent reused acrylic glass and impresses with the brand quality of the original by Röhm. The recycled acrylic glass is transparent or opaque, has a gloss surface on both sides and as a co-extruded material, it features the same properties as PLEXIGLAS® XT:
- low thickness tolerance
- very resistant to weather and aging
- stronger and lighter than glass in comparable geometries
- easy and versatile to process and very easy to glue together
Original PLEXIGLAS® is very easy to recycle. Leftover acrylic glass is used for manufacturing PLEXIGLAS® proTerra. The recycled raw material is then extruded as a sheet core in a co-extrusion process and refined with outer layers of virgin PMMA.
PLEXIGLAS® proTerra is a sustainably produced, high-quality acrylic glass. The environmentally friendly material is available in the form of clear or black solid sheets.
PLEXIGLAS® proTerra opens up design possibilities for countless applications such as in exhibition booth construction and shopfitting – in all instances where saving resources is important.
However, PLEXIGLAS® proTerra is not the only sustainable PLEXIGLAS® product. Read here to discover how our PLEXIGLAS® products contribute to finding solutions for the challenges of our time:
