PLEXIGLAS® proTerra solid sheets are manufactured in a coextrusion process. The core is formed by a thick layer of PLEXIGLAS® recyclate embedded in two outer, thin face sheets of PLEXIGLAS® virgin material.

The production of PLEXIGLAS® is not harmful to nature. Waste water and exhaust air from production are filtered and processed so that no toxic substances arise. Production waste is collected and utilised.

PLEXIGLAS® is a valuable high-performance material, which is mainly used to manufacture high-quality, durable consumer goods. Unlike many bulk and packaging plastics, PLEXIGLAS® can therefore contribute to reducing the burden on the environment.

If it doesn’t break it doesn’t need to be replaced. In contrast to many other plastics, PLEXIGLAS® is extremely impact-resistant and durable thanks to its weather resistance.

Even after many years of use, PLEXIGLAS® sheets and installations do not emit any substances into the ground, air or water. The material is suitable for food products, odourless and will even burn without toxic emissions.

Cast acrylic sheets (GS) are characterized by high chemical resistance, excellent optical quality and good processing possibilities. The sheets can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications.

PLEXIGLAS® XT have optimal thickness tolerances and high visual quality. The sheets have unrivalled resistance to ageing and weathering, are highly transparent, bright, break-proof and shock-resistant as well as being easy to shape and process.

PLEXIGLAS® Optical is an extruded sheet material made from acrylic glass. The surface finish offers outstanding resistance to abrasion and chemicals. The material also has excellent visual properties.

PLEXIGLAS® LED ensures maximum transmittance of the light, thus enabling fluent and fascinating colour change effects and preventing disturbing hotspots. The white or coloured light-diffusing sheets are optimised for backlighting or edge lighting with LEDs.

PLEXIGLAS® Satinice is pleasant to touch thanks to its velvety and warm surface. The sheets provide discreet light diffusion and come with one or both sides in various colours.

PLEXIGLAS® Satinice is available with a matte satin surface on one or both sides, or with diffuser beads evenly distributed throughout the material, in various colors.

PLEXIGLAS® proTerra multi-skin and corrugated sheets are highly light-transmitting and permanently weather-resistant acrylic sheets that contain at least 51 percent recycled material. In terms of structure, they are similar to multi-skin and corrugated sheets made from virgin PLEXIGLAS®.
