PLEXIGLAS® Stretched
PLEXIGLAS® Stretched acrylic is produced using PLEXIGLAS® GS 249 and qualified to AECMA 4366 as well as MIL-P-25690. It also meets US Military Specification MIL-PRF-8184 as a Type I, Class 2. PLEXIGLAS® Stretched sheet is used in high-performance aircraft canopies and advanced transparency systems. The stretching process increases resistance to crazing and solvent attack and supports improved mechanical performance in demanding aircraft applications.
Properties
PLEXIGLAS® Stretched acrylic is used in advanced aircraft transparencies, including fighter jet canopies, helicopter glazing, and large-format canopy systems where structural performance and optical clarity are required.
